Andrew Pierce, Ashley Hudson and their Hamburg community knew that they would not go back. Ashley was 17 and had never been with a man before, so they took it slow. The two fell in love on first glance. Andrew wanted God, on New Year's Eve, just prior to the year's end, to grant him another blessing in 2016. He wished for Ashley to say yes. Ashley really wanted to do a wooden folk themed wedding because it symbolized Andrew along with her. They combined a little bit of everything they loved for their big day. Ashley lived on 40 acres which were chosen as the venue. Ashley knew the entire region, having explored it and even playing in the area. Andrew and Ashley were also at several times since they began dating. As most of the decorations were made by the bride and groom it was essential to personalize the wedding. Andrew, Ashley's dad and Ashley themselves designed all the d cor. Ashley also painted and made a variety of decorations. Ashley states, "Our wedding would not have been the dreamy experience I had always envisioned if Anna's beautiful flowers hadn't been done." It's truly amazing.
